Triptych Float reimagines the boundaries of light and suspension. Each porcelain panel appears to drift effortlessly in space, supported by a groundbreaking single-wire system that both powers and suspends the work — eliminating the need for traditional 240V cabling or bulky fixtures. The result is a seamless, ethereal installation where light becomes sculpture.
As the porcelain sheets are fired, natural variations and imperfections emerge, revealing their individual character. Rather than concealing these marks, they are celebrated through the Japanese art of Kintsugi — a golden repair technique that transforms fractures into luminous veins of beauty. Each piece becomes a meditation on resilience and renewal: a reminder that imperfection can be the truest form of perfection. This sustainable process not only gives new life to materials that might once have been discarded, but also honours the philosophy of circular design.

磁器のシートを焼成すると、自然な変化や欠陥が浮かび上がり、それぞれの個性が明らかになります。これらの痕跡を隠すのではなく、日本の金継ぎという技術によって、ひび割れを光り輝く美の脈へと変える修復技法を通して、それらを称えます。それぞれの作品は、回復力と再生についての瞑想となり、不完全さこそが真の完璧さの形態となり得ることを改めて思い起こさせます。この持続可能なプロセスは、かつては廃棄されていたかもしれない素材に新たな命を吹き込むだけでなく、循環型デザインの哲学を尊重しています。Features
